Five scrapbooks and one box of news clippings, advertisements, postcards, and photographs of ships (mostly ocean liners and cruise ships) compiled by J. Frederick Hackenberg. Includes a few items of promotional materials. Ships especially well represented are Bermuda, Berengaria, Mauretania, Olympic, Paris, Nieuw Amsterdam, Morro Castle, Bremen, Roma, Leviathan, and Titanic. In addition to cruise ships and liners, there are materials on sailing ships, submarines, steamships, and maritime disasters.
